Transition to High School Session - Number 2
Mackay State High School are once again inviting all students in year 6 to attend the second transition day for Semester Two. Both the August transition day, and the upcoming Transition day are additional to the official Mackay State High School Orientation day held on Monday December 2. These transition days are open to all students, even those enrolling at different high schools. We believe the information to be useful for all students transitioning to high school.
The second transition day for Mackay West State School year 6 students will occur on Thursday 31st October from 9am – 11am. Students will be transported by bus departing Mackay West State School at 8.45am. Students will be learning about school culture, year level expecations, team work, peer support systems.
Students will be supervised by year 6 teachers and support staff for the morning whilst at Mackay State High School.
