NAIDOC Week 2022 - Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!
MWSS will celebrate this year's NAIDOC starting from the 18th July. We will be holding an opening ceremony with local Elders showcasing some of the First Nations work done within our school.
Through this year’s NAIDOC theme we are encouraged to ‘Get up, Stand up, Show up’. We celebrate the leaders who’ve been the champions of change that span generations.
This year we are able to have two First Nation Artist in resident. Deadly Uncle Arthur back to continue artworks in our schools. We are also lucky enough to have Patrick Thaiday assist in dance and drama of Brolga with the year 6 classes.
