Celebrating 100 Days of Prep!
Our Prep students have reached an exciting milestone—100 Days of Learning! We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved during their first 100 days of school and can't wait to celebrate this special occasion together.
On Friday, 17 July, our Prep classrooms will be transformed into centres of fun, creativity and learning as students take part in a variety of exciting activities all based around the number 100. Throughout the day, children will enjoy counting, building, creating, investigating and solving challenges as they reflect on just how much they have learned since starting school.
One of the highlights of the day will be our much-loved dress-up theme! Prep students are invited to come dressed as what they imagine they might look like when they are 100 years old. Grey hair, glasses, cardigans, walking sticks, hats, bow ties, pearls and plenty of imagination are all encouraged! We can't wait to see the wonderful and creative costumes our students come up with.
The first 100 days of Prep represent so much more than a number. During this time our students have:
Developed new friendships and become valued members of our school community.
Grown in confidence and independence.
Learned important literacy and numeracy skills.
Explored, created, questioned and discovered through play and hands-on learning.
Built the foundations for a lifelong love of learning.
This celebration is a wonderful opportunity to recognise just how far our youngest learners have come and to acknowledge the dedication of our Prep teachers and families who have supported them every step of the way.
