Do you have a child eligible to enrol in Prep in 2025???
Our Pre-Prep (Transition to Prep) Program is commencing on Wednesday July 24.
The program sessions are held at our Junior (Bridge Road) Campus every Wednesday throughout Terms 3 & 4.
9.00am - 11.00am
The sessions are open to ALL under school-aged children however a special program will be running for children who will be attending Prep in 2025. The sessions are aimed at familiarising children with the school environment before actually commencing school & open to all children, not just those preparing to attend here at Mackay West State School. The program is beneficial to both children & parents offering the opportunity to make social connections and assist in school readiness. Parents and guardians can also use this time to begin the enrolment process.
All children MUST be accompanied by a supervising parent or guardian during the program. A morning tea break is scheduled so please bring along a healthy snack and water bottle. Don't forget, a hat & sunscreen for outdoor activities.
