❤️💙 DAY FOR DANIEL & SAUSAGE SIZZLE – FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER! 💙❤️
Mackay West State School is getting ready to turn RED for a very important cause! ❤️
On Friday 30 October, we’ll be celebrating Day for Daniel and supporting the Daniel Morcombe Foundation by promoting child safety, awareness and the importance of keeping our children safe.
🔴 WEAR RED! Students and staff are encouraged to wear red to show their support for this important initiative.
🌭 SAUSAGE SIZZLE – 2ND BREAK! We’ll also be holding a sausage sizzle to add a little extra sizzle to the day!
🪙 GOLD COIN DONATION: Families are invited to contribute a gold coin donation to support the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and its valuable work in child safety education.
🛡️ Throughout the day, students will participate in child safety lessons, helping them develop the knowledge and confidence to recognise unsafe situations and seek help when needed.
Together, we can help empower children with the knowledge and skills to stay safe. ❤️
Let’s stand together, wear red, enjoy a sausage sizzle and remind our children that keeping kids safe is everyone’s business!
❤️ Be aware. Be kind. Keep each other safe.
