MSHS TRANSITION TO HIGH SCHOOL
Yr 6 Families...
Mackay State High School are inviting all students enrolling in year 7 for 2024 to attend two transition days during Semester Two. These days are additional to the official orientation day held on Monday December 4.
These transition days are open to all students, even those enrolling at different high schools. We believe the information to be useful for all students transitioning to high school.
The second transition day for Mackay West State School year 6 students will occur on Thursday 2nd November 2023 from 9am -11am. Students will be transported by bus departing Mackay West State School at 8.45am.
Students will be learning about school culture, year level expectations, team work and peer support systems.
Students will be supervised by year 6 teachers and support staff for the morning whilst at Mackay State High School.
