CQU Young Engineers STEM Program
Do you have a young (Yr 1 - Yr 6) aged student wanting to challenge/involve themselves in STEM? Central Queensland University will be hosting the Young Engineers Program here at Mackay West SS next term (and possibly in Term 4 as well). The program will be running from 3.15pm on Thursdays in our Porforming Arts Centre.
Young Engineers is a STEM based (after hours and/or incursion) program, that uses LEGO and associated motors, batteries, sensors and basic programing to teach STEM and finetune children’s 21st century skills.
