Our school (Year 3 & 4 students ONLY) will be attending Whitsunday Voices Literature Festival on FRIDAY JULY 18th (Term 3).
The festival is a marvellous mix of talented authors/illustrators/performance artists; the only one of its kind outside of South-east Qld. Held in July each year, Whitsunday Voices is a three-day celebration of reading, writing and creative thinking. It provides a unique opportunity for students, teachers and residents in and around Mackay to experience a literary and cultural event not normally available outside major metropolitan centres.
If you would like for your child/ren to attend, please complete the consent form (sent out via SchoolStream & email this morning) & return together WITH YOUR PAYMENT ($10) to the Snr Administration Office by Friday June 27. Please be aware, seats are limited & allocated on a first come, first served basis.
