Parent Teacher Interviews May 5 from 3.15pm

Dear Parents/Carers 

Prep to Year 6 Parent/Teacher Interviews - Term 2 Week 3, Thursday May 5 2022

Parent/Teacher interviews have been arranged for Thursday May 5 2022, from 3.15pm until 6.00pm.  This is a great opportunity to get some feedback on your child's progress from Term 1.  Due to the delayed start to the year, we have deliberately left our “traditional" Term 1 interviews to 5th May to ensure students have had adequate time to complete assessment pieces. 

Interviews for all families will be conducted in the Senior Campus Library and Doug Sturgeon Performing Arts Centre at the Pinder Street Campus, and will be of 10 minutes duration.    

Booking procedure is as follows:

  • Access the school website mackaywestss@eq.edu.au, then click the link for 'Parent-Teacher-Interviews' OR via this link:  PT Interviews 05.05.2022
  • The booking system will be accessible from 9am Thursday April 21 until 5pm Wednesday May 4.
  • If you do not have access to the internet your local library may be able to help, or alternatively you can call the school office and the booking will be made online on your behalf.
  • Interview times will only be available between 3.15pm to 5.50pm. No interview requests will be accepted outside of these times

Alternate supervision arrangements are recommended for students and younger children during the afternoon.  

Health and Safety / COVID-19 guidelines to be observed 

  • Social distancing to be observed at all times.
  • On arrival, parents will wait in the West Wing observing social distancing.
  • The entry point to the (PAC) Performing Arts Centre will be via the western door, adjacent to the West Wing.  The exit point will be via the southern door adjacent to tuckshop.
  • Parents will be directed to move into the PAC &/or Library Areas for interviews by staff members.
  • Additional cleaning of high touch surfaces will be carried out during the afternoon.  

Teachers are looking forward to the opportunity to meet with as many parents as possible to discuss students' learning progress in 2022. ​
