It is important that students who have asthma or any other medical difficulties follow the appropriate procedures regarding their medication. If your child has been sick, please provide the classroom teacher with a note so that appropriate adjustments can be made. Without a note, we will assume your child has the capacity to partake in the event.
You are welcome to come and support students during the carnival. Please feel free to find yourself shade around the senior campus oval – staying well behind event markers. Students will be seated under their house tents or participating in the above events.
All students will be competing in our Athletics Carnival. As the discus event is a “high” risk activity, we require consent from parents for your child to participate. If you wish for your child to participate in the discus event please complete the permission form and return to the classroom teacher.
Children are encouraged to:
- Wear a shirt of their sporting house colour for the day. Please note that regular school coloured shorts/skirts/skorts should be worn. If students don’t have a house coloured shirt, they are welcome to wear either our sports uniform or regular school uniform.
- wear a hat
- bring sunscreen
- bring a water bottle
- wear suitable shoes
- If your child is wearing coloured zinc or hair spray (in house colours), this must be applied at home.
